Dazu z\u00e4hlt die gleichzeitige Teilnahme an unterschiedlichen Stromm\u00e4rkten mit verschiedenen Dienstleistungen. Ein einzelner Anwendungsfall \u2013 etwa reine Arbitrage oder ausschlie\u00dflich die Bereitstellung von Regelenergie \u2013 reicht in der Praxis meist nicht aus, um einen Gro\u00dfspeicher wirtschaftlich zu betreiben. Erst die Kombination mehrerer Anwendungen erm\u00f6glicht eine ausreichende Auslastung.<\/p><p><strong>Revenue Stacking in der Praxis<\/strong><br \/>In einem BESS k\u00f6nnen beispielsweise 50 Prozent der Kapazit\u00e4t f\u00fcr die Bereitstellung von Prim\u00e4rregelleistung genutzt werden, um die Netzfrequenz sekundenschnell zu stabilisieren. Weitere 30 Prozent der Kapazit\u00e4t stehen f\u00fcr den Arbitragehandel zur Verf\u00fcgung. Dabei wird der Speicher bei niedrigen Strompreisen geladen und bei hohen Preisen wieder entladen. Die Differenz zwischen Einkaufspreis und Verkaufspreis ist der Gewinn. 20 Prozent der Kapazit\u00e4t k\u00f6nnen z. B. f\u00fcr Peak Shaving (Lastspitzen-Kappung) eingesetzt werden, um den teuren Netzbezug der Spitzenlasten in z. B. einem Industriebetrieb zu reduzieren.
