“An innovative Agri-PV solar park in Bremen (14.5 MWp) where renewable energy generation and agriculture go hand in hand – a showcase of dual land use in Germany.”
In Bremen, Germany, we realized an innovative Agri-PV solar park with a total capacity of 14,5 MWp.This project demonstrates how renewable energy generation and farming can complement each other, serving as a practical example of the energy transition.
Capacity: 14.52 MWp
Solar panels: 23.982
Inverters: 31 units of 330 kVA each 31 stuks van 330 kVA
Transformers: 2 units (6.6 MVA & 3.3 MVA)
Mounting system: Mono-pile system – using a single central pile per row. This design provides wider row spacing, allowing efficient agricultural use of the land.
The construction of the Bremen solar farm faced several challenges. Due to high groundwater levels and periods of frost, the installation of AC and DC cabling had to be temporarily postponed. Thanks to the flexibility of our project team and close collaboration with partners, these obstacles were successfully overcome.
The Agri-PV solar park in Bremen is now fully operational. With nearly 24,000 solar panels, the plant supplies renewable energy to thousands of households while maintaining agricultural activities on-site. This smart combination of solar energy and farming makes the project a true showcase of dual land use and contributes to the growth of Agri-PV in Germany.
This project highlights our role in the energy transition and our ambition to develop innovative solutions at the intersection of solar power and sustainable land use.
