We have been active in the development, sales, realisation and maintenance of large-scale solar energy systems within the C&I (Commercial & Industry) and Utility market for more than 10 years. We realise large-scale solar parks and design and supply integrated renewable energy solutions consisting of, among others, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), EV (Electric Vehicle) charging solutions and energy management solutions. We operate in Benelux, France, UK, Germany and Scandinavia. 

The Role

As Senior Project Manager Solar and BESS, you will ensure optimal progress of our projects from start to finish: you will keep an overview of technology, safety, planning and budget. On average, you will visit projects in the Netherlands and/or abroad twice a month. You are the pivot of the project and ensure that everything runs smoothly, technically, organisationally and financially, and are the connecting link between customer, team and implementation.

Your responsibilities include:

• You will be responsible for the realisation of complex, large-scale solar projects from inception to completion;
• Preparing planning and quality procedures and monitoring progress;
• You monitor the budget and are responsible for the financial result;
• You will manage engineering and site managers;
• Ensuring projects demonstrably meet contractual obligations;
• Overseeing procurement processes and ensuring proper execution;
• Maintaining contact with external consultants, clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders;
• Maintaining control over technical, safety, planning, quality, and financial aspects throughout the process;
• Visiting (international) project sites, supervising on-site activities, and taking corrective actions where necessary;
• Actively contributing to process improvement and efficiency.

You work from our headquarters in Utrecht and are willing to visit your projects at home or abroad twice a month on average.

What You Bring

You are an entrepreneurial and proactive professional with proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects and contracts. With your international experience and passion for renewable energy, you bring structure, results, and progress — always with an eye for quality and collaboration.

Furthermore, you have:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in a technical field; electrical engineering, physics, or mechanical engineering is an advantage;
• You have at least 5 years' experience in multidisciplinary projects with a strong technical character, experience with Solar or BESS is an advantage;
• International work experience;
• Strong communication skills;
• Fluency in English; German is an advantage;
• A valid driver’s license (category B).
