Open energy day 11 September: come see solar farm langstraatzon
This year, the Open Energy Day is being organised for the first time: on 11 September, interested parties can visit a wind turbine, solar farm, heat installation or other sustainable energy projects throughout the Netherlands. LangstraatZon solar farm in Waalwijk will also open its doors to the public on that Saturday.
In the coming years, the Netherlands will generate more and more energy from renewable sources, such as with wind turbines, solar panels, ground heat, heat pumps or from water. During the Open Energy Day, everyone can come and see and experience for themselves how this works. Producers will open their doors at dozens of locations throughout the Netherlands. In Waalwijk too, visitors can visit Zonnepark LangstraatZon. More information can be found at Daarkrijgjeenergievan.nl
