Overbetuwe solar farm: all transformers connected

At solar farm Overbetuwe last week, we connected the thirteenth and final transformer to the 21kV grid. A good reason to celebrate this milestone with cake!🍰

The solar park can be seen as an 8km-long ribbon development between the A15 and the Betuweroute. The first 11 transformers are already in operation. A total of about 65MWp of solar panels have already been connected to these. The last two transformers will be made operational next week. In the coming months, we will realise the last fields. After that, the solar farm will have a DC capacity of more than 85MWp.
