For more than 10 years, we have been active in the development, sales, construction and maintenance of large-scale solar energy systems within the C&I (Commercial & Industry) and Utility markets. We develop large solar parks and design and deliver integrated sustainable energy solutions, including EV charging solutions, batteries, solar panels and energy management systems.

Due to international growth ambitions (Benelux, France, Germany and Scandinavia), we are looking for a Tender Manager Solar parks and BESS projects.

As Tender Manager, you will be responsible for setting up, coordinating and winning large tender projects at home and abroad. Together with the tender team, you translate technical and commercial opportunities into winning proposals.

The Role

You will coordinate the entire tender process for large-scale solar parks and BESS projects in Northwest Europe, from calculation and procurement preparation to planning, customer contact and process improvement.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Setting up, organising and coordinating large-scale tenders;
• Prepare and manage accurate estimates in collaboration with the tender team;
• Together with your procurement colleagues, prepare procurement projects to support the estimation;
• Working with the sales engineer to technically fulfil customer requirements;
• Working with legal counsel to agree contract terms with the client;
• Coordinate planning, quality and commercial conditions with internal and external parties;
• Maintain and strengthen relationships through client contact, attending meetings and giving presentations;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial processes and practices.

You work from our office in Utrecht, where you are part of the commercial team with tender managers, sales engineers and business development managers. Together, you set the course, develop winning proposals and contribute to the further international growth of ProfiNRG.

What You Bring

For the position of Tender Manager, we are looking for an enthusiastic professional with a passion for engineering and the following knowledge and experience:

• You have at least a completed college education, preferably with a technical background (electrical engineering, physics or mechanical engineering is an advantage);
• You have at least 3 years' experience in an environment with multidisciplinary, technically complex projects;
• You are entrepreneurial, proactive and structured, with a hands-on mentality;
• You communicate clearly and convincingly, both internally and externally;
• Your command of the English language is fluent in both word and writing.
