Co-founder and technical director Bert van Woudenberg bids farewell to ProfiNRG

The Utrecht-based installer of solar parks and solar roofs is saying goodbye to its technical director and co-founder Bert van Woudenberg after 11 years. Van Woudenberg will enjoy a well-deserved retirement. Due to the approaching holiday period, staff already said goodbye to him at a festive BBQ in early July.  

Many employees, customers and suppliers have worked with Van Woudenberg for many years. Bert was much appreciated for his great practical and technical knowledge, which he was happy to share with employees and customers. 

Since ProfiNRG was founded in 2012, numerous prominent projects have been installed and the organisation experienced stormy growth. In recent years, ProfiNRG has increasingly focused on building larger-scale solar parks, solar roofs and energy storage systems.  

Van Woudenberg is known for his optimism, commitment and straightforward mentality. Van Woudenberg's extraordinary contribution to ProfiNRG was therefore explicitly mentioned during the farewell speech by colleague and co-founder Cees van de Werken. On behalf of staff and management, he thanked Van Woudenberg for the years they spent together building ProfiNRG. 

Bert van Woudenberg's role will be taken over by Martijn Feteris, who as technical director, together with shareholders René Hanssen, Cees van de Werken and the other members of the management team, will further professionalise and expand the organisation.  

FUTURE 

ProfiNRG's arrows will focus on internationalisation, scale-up and further professionalisation in the coming years. ProfiNRG has a reputation for being innovative. This will continue to characterise the company with the company slogan 'Professional in Solar Energy' high on its agenda.
